Zafrani Kheer



  • Milk 2 ½ kg
  • Sugar 1 ½ cup
  • Rice ½ cup
  • Cardamom Powder 1 tsp
  • Saffron ½ tsp
  • Almonds & Pistachio (blanched & grinded) ½ cup


Step 1

Soak rice for 2 hours then dry and coarsely ground them.

Step 2

In a pan pour milk and bring it to boil. Add grinded rice. Cook for 20 minutes by continiously stirring it. When the rice are cooked add sugar.

Step 3

When the kheer start thickens add almonds and pistachio, grinded green cardamom and saffron. Cool and serve.
