Plain Vanilla Tea Cake



  • Flour (Maida) 200gm
  • Eggs 4
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Unsalted Butter 200gm
  • Vanilla Essence 1.5 tsp
  • Baking Powder 1.5 tsp
  • Milk 4tbsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Yellow Food Color a pinch


Step 1

Take a bowl and put sugar and butter into it. Beat it well till the mixture become creamy. Add one egg at a time and beat. Put vanilla essence and milk into the mixture.

Step 2

In another bowl sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add this half cup at a time into the wet mixture and beat. In the end add yellow food color.

Step 3

Now pour this mixture into a baking pan which should be greased and bake it on 180 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. If you want to make dry fruit cake so you can add dry fruits of your choice into the mixture.
