Spicy Oven Baked Potato Wedges Recipe


Compared to French fries which are deep fried in oil, oven baked potato wedges with spicy seasoning are much healthier as only a little omega-3 rich olive oil is used. Our baked wedges recipe is low on calories and a healthy alternative to French fries and other fattening midnight snacks.


  • Potatoes 3 medium sized
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Olive Oil 4 tsp
  • Rosemarry 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • Red Pepper 1/2 tbsp


Step 1

Cut potatoes into wedges keeping the skin and wash them well.

Step 2

Thoroughly brush potato wedges with olive oil and spread them in oven tray over an aluminum foil.

Step 3

Sprinkle wedges with all the seasonings; oregano leaves, rosemary, salt and a little red pepper powder.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 250 degrees C (500 Degrees F).

Step 5

Bake for 30 minutes and keep checking till the wedges are tender, golden and easily pierced with a fork.
