’s Special Shami kabab



  • Beef mince ½ kg
  • Channa daal ½ cup
  • Potato (peeled & chopped) 1
  • Onion (chopped) 1
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp
  • All Spice 1 tsp
  • Green Chilies (chopped) 2
  • Egg (beaten) 1
  • Bread Crumbs to coat


Step 1

In a pan put mince with potato, daal, ginger garlic, onion, salt, spices and 2 cups water. Cook it till daal has cooked completely and mixture dries.

Step 2

Now grind the mixture finely in a chopper by adding yogurt, coriander leaves and green chilies. Mix it well.

Step 3

Make shape into kebabs. Dip in beaten egg, coat in bread crumbs and deep fry. Serve with ketchup or green chatni.
