Rich Chocolate Cake



  • 300 gm dark chocolate
  • 200 gm unsalted butter
  • 250 ml full cream milk
  • 165 gm caster sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 gm self raising flour
  • 150 gm plain flour


Step 1

Take a sauce pan, put chocolate, butter, milk and sugar. Melt it on a low flame while stirring continiously. Once melted keep it aside to cool.

Step 2

Add vanilla extract and eggs to the melted mixture.

Step 3

Sift self raising flour and plain flour in a large bowl. Add the wet mixture one cup at a time and mix well.

Step 4

Pre heat the oven and bake it at 145 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool it in a tin and then serve.
