Prawn Tempura

Ingredients

  • Medium-sized prawns 300 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ingredients for Batter:
  • Eggs 3
  • Plain flour 1 cup
  • Corn flour 1 cup
  • Dry flour 1 cup
  • Black pepper powder ½ tsp
  • White pepper powder ½ tsp
  • Ground green chilies 2 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Marinate 300 grams prawns with 2 tbsp ginger, garlic paste and salt to taste.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine 1 cup plain flour, 1 cup corn flour, 3 eggs, 2 tbsp ground green chilies, ½ tsp black pepper powder, ½ tsp white pepper powder and salt to taste.

Step 3

Coat prawns with plain flour and dip in the prepared mixture. Fry until golden brown and serve hot.
