Kasuri Fried Fish Recipe


Kasuri fried fish is an easy to follow recipe, a bachelor’s meal that yields a tasty crispy fish.


  • Rohu Fish 1 kg
  • Gram Flour 1 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Red Chilli Powder 1.5 tsp
  • White Cumin 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chat Masala 1 tsp
  • Ajwain 1 tbsp grounded
  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying


Step 1

Marinate fish in ginger garlic paste, salt, 1tsp red chilli powder, ajwain, lemon juice, soy sauce and 2 tbsp gram flour for 4 to 5 hours.

Step 2

Now in the remaing gram flour add egg, salt, remaining red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chat masala and make a paste with water.

Step 3

Dip fish in the batter and deep fry it in hot oil. Garam garam paish kerain (Serve Hot).
