Hot and Sour Soup

Ingredients

  • Chicken stock 3 cups
  • Egg 1
  • Carrots 2
  • Boneless Chicken 1 cup(boiled)
  • Capsicums 2
  • Green Onions 1 cup
  • Cabbage 1 cup
  • Sesame Oil few drops
  • Chili Sauce 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Chicken Cube Flour 1 tbsp
  • Black Pepper (ground) ½ tsp
  • White Pepper (ground) ½ tsp
  • White Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Corn Flour 2 tbsp
  • Soya Sauce 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Maida 1tbsp ( white flour)

Method

Step 1

In a pan add 3 glass of stock with 3 tbsp soya sauce, 2 tbsp vinegar, 1 tsp white flour, 1 tsp chili sauce, salt to taste, 1 tsp sugar, ½ tsp white pepper, 1 cup of cabbage, 2 grated carrot and 2 capsicum and cook on low flame.

Step 2

When its starts to boil add 1 cup chicken and cook for 5 minutes. Then in stock add 2 tbsp corn flour to dissolve and stir it.

Step 3

When soup turns thick, add 1 egg. In the end pour few drops of sesame oil and 1 cup green onion to serve.
