Crispy Fried Fish

Ingredients

  • Fish 1kg
  • Onion 1 small
  • Garlic Cloves 8
  • Ginger 1.5 inch piece
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Gram Flour 1 Cup
  • Bread Crumbs 1/2 Cup
  • Egg 1
  • Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
  • Oil for Frying
  • For Marination:
  • Zeera Powder 1 tsp
  • Dhania Powder 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Fennel Seed Powder (Sonf) 1 tsp

Method

Step 1

Roast all the dry ingredients.

Step 2

Grinde onion, garlic and ginger to make a paste. Dont use water.

Step 3

Now add the roasted ingredients to the paste.

Step 4

Marinate fish into the paste.

Step 5

In a seprate bowl mix gram flour, bread crumbs and egg and add little water to make a paste.

Step 6

Dip fish in the batter and deep fry in hot oil. Serve after squeezing lemon juice over it.
