Chicken Fajita

Ingredients

  • Ingredients for chicken filling
  • Chicken julienne 250 gm
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed coriander 1 tsp
  • Capsicum 1 sliced
  • Onion 1 sliced
  • Grated cheddar cheese 1 cup
  • Salsa sauce ½ cup
  • Tortillas 6 to 8
  • Ingredients for salsa
  • Tomatoes 3 medium remove skin and chopperized
  • Onion 1 chopped
  • Garlic crushed ½ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Sugar ½ tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Tomato ½ finely cubed
  • Capsicum ½ finely chopped

Method

Step 1

Method for chicken Marinate chicken strips with lemon juice, garlic, cumin, green chilies, coriander, crushed red pepper, salt, heat oil in a frying pan add chicken with onion and capsicum, cook for 5 minutes till chicken tender,

Step 2

Blend all the ingredients of salsa except chopped capsicum and cubed tomatoes. In sauce pan heat oil add tomato mixture with capsicum and tomato cubes cook for 10 minutes

Step 3

Make individual fajita by placing chicken and vegetable mixture, grated cheese in the center of tortillas, spread with sour cream, top with salsa sauce, roll and serve.
